Conditions we treat
Social Anxiety
Social anxiety disorder is an intense, persistent fear of being watched, judged or embarrassed in social or performance situations.
What it can look like
- Strong fear of social situations or speaking in front of others
- Worrying for days or weeks before an event
- Avoiding social situations or enduring them with distress
- Blushing, sweating or trembling around others
- Fear that others will notice your anxiety
Only a qualified clinician can make a diagnosis. Many of these experiences overlap with other conditions.
